Completely forgettable
The venue was not that late by normal concert standards when we walked in thirty minutes late. It was a completely forgettable night with Ra Ra Riot playing their WTH! second to last song as a red flag. Tamar Braxton comes on shortly after and starts their set, rushing through it and making it felt like something they had to do, not where they wanted to be. Standing room only, which is fine, created a not so great experience when the stage is low and your sight line is impeded. Everyone felt disillusioned, lots of grumbling, as they walked off the set, only to return for an encore to fulfill the full hour of concert time. To get out of the parking lot was another hour literally waiting just to leave the parking lot. We won't be going to the South Side Ballroom for a concert again and probably won't be seeing Tamar Braxton again.
